SUNSHINE SPEECH PATHOLOGY

Rachel is a self-motivated paediatric speech pathologist with experience in the private and disability sectors. She brings nearly 8 years of experience working with children and adolescents with special needs, including in a special needs education assistant capacity.

 

Her empathetic nature combined with what is described as having a sunny and bubbly personality, capturing the name Sunshine Speech Pathology. This makes it easy for her to build meaningful and supportive relationships with her clients. Rachel takes a functional and family-centred approach to her intervention to help clients achieve their best in their day-to-day activities. Rachel has experience working within clinics, homes, and with school and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for her clients.

 

Rachel is certified in several programs, including:

When Rachel is not at work, she enjoys going to the gym, pilates, swimming at the beach, baking sweet treats, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, partner and cat.

Rachel is a Medicare Registered Provider and Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist under the regulatory body, Speech Pathology Australia. Rachel also holds:

NDIS Workers Clearance

Working with Children Check 

Department of Education Clearance

National Police Clearance 

Mental Health First Aid Certificate

Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate.

All necessary and annual vaccination including COVID-19 and Influenza.
